This week we had to re-do the basic facts test that we did at the start of the year to see what improvement we had made. Last time I got a score of 50/60 at level 2 stage 5. This time my score was 36/60 at level 3 stage 6.So, I'm doing real good because I have gone up a level and am working at the right level for National Standards at the end of the year. I need to learn my Multiplication and division facts and my Groupings within 1000.

Perception writing
Hello everyone,
Yesterday we were doing perception writing. Mrs Dixon read out some sentences, and we had to picture that in our minds. We used google drawings and pasted it in Google slides. After that was done. Mrs Dixon Buddy us up and our Buddys made up a story of what they thought the picture was.

Writing speeches
Kia Ora
In the last couple of weeks we have learning about Argument Writing. We had to use colour-coding to match position statements with an argument title. Position statement is just a fancy way of saying what you believe. This was a helpful activity for me and it was slightly tricky but I got it all done all by myself.
