                     This is the published version of the recount I wrote in Week 1. I shared it with my friends Dave, Stuart and Bob and they helped me edit it.We were a pretty good team.                  

Term 1 2016  Personal Recount Sample                                            Name: Jessica Paihia

My family and I were having a day out. So we decided to go to Paihia, and catch a ferry to Russell. So that's the plan until we were trying get a ride. But unfortunately it was booked OUT! There was restaurant that was on a wharf. So we just checked it out. They were very well organised. After that, we staring at the beautiful ocean view. It was pretty like a snowflake. We were walking all over Paihia. We all discovered new things. We were walking slowly around  the halls. Then we found an awesome ice cream store. It was about to close. They asked us what we were looking for. ‘’ My dad answered “ just after ice cream!.” They kindly replied “ we can give you ice cream.  I was happy like a wild monkey .We were all lined up I was first I asked for a lemon & lime. The icecream was. Massive, even though my dad asked for a single scoop. I was  waiting for the others. Now we just wondered off to the park. Now for fish and chips. Kate and Dad ordered it, while the rest of us waited. Half and hour later they arrived with their hands full. Finally! The fish and fish arrived. The chips were so crunchy. We had a really fun day:)!
